Intent

The intent of this license is to allow anyone and everyone to make use of LibSTK as is most fitting to their needs and goals. We have chosen the GNU Lesser General Public Licence (LGPL) as the license base and provide the exceptions below to better meet the needs of commercial developers. You may statically link your programs to the LibSTK library and distribute them in binary form, the source for modifications to the library itself must be made available upon request.

Requirements

• g++-3.2
• automake-1.7
• Freetype 2
• Boost(specifically, shared pointers, signals, bind, and threads)
• SDL or DirectFB for current surface backends
• libxine (cvs) (needed for the xine_test and the xine_panel widget)
• libpng (needed for images and test_app)
